Intellectual methodology

What our vision
builds upon.

Good ideas never stand alone. We show which insights originate in research and official frameworks, which models Convene developed, and how human accountability remains decisive.

Our method

Research provides direction.
Convene makes it governable.

The content of this website is a synthesis. We connect academic research, strategy, European regulation and practical experience with an original vision for intelligent organizations.

A citation does not imply that the researcher or institution endorses Convene, our services or our models. We use their work as an intellectual foundation and identify where our interpretation begins.

This is a living account. We update it when our thinking changes or a new framework becomes relevant.

Original Convene work

01

EPOCH Organization

A Convene organization model comprising Executive Alignment, Process Redesign, Organizational Capability, Culture & Change and Human Capital Shift. It translates strategic AI choices into organization design. It is an original synthesis, not an academically validated model.

02

Convene AI OS

The platform designed by Convene for collaboration between people, AI agents and external systems within explicit authority. Governance, tasks, knowledge, approval and auditability turn our vision into operations.

03

Convene frameworks

Our application of collective intelligence, the routes Automation, Augmentation and Transformation, and the principle Technology follows strategy are Convene frameworks. They connect established knowledge into one decision and delivery method.

Origin and application

What we adopt.
And what we add.

Human EPOCH

Human strength alongside AI

Human EPOCH is based on EPOCH research by Isabella Loaiza and Roberto Rigobon. Convene adds Human to distinguish the original human centered framework from EPOCH Organization. We attribute the five capabilities and their origin to the researchers.

Collective intelligence

From supermind to organization design

The MIT Center for Collective Intelligence explains how people and computers can act intelligently together. Convene translates that idea into a governable organization model coordinating human judgment, AI, data and feedback.

Strategy first

From positioning to technology

Michael Porter distinguishes operational effectiveness from strategy. Convene applies that insight to AI: technology gains direction only when the position, value and coherence it should strengthen are clear. Technology follows strategy is our application.

Governance

From principle
to demonstrable control.

Four authoritative frameworks shape our governance approach. The European AI Act and GDPR define relevant legal duties. The NIST AI Risk Management Framework and OECD AI Principles add practical language for risk, trustworthiness, transparency, safety and human agency.

These frameworks do not replace legal advice. Applicable duties depend on the organization, its role in the AI value chain and the specific use.

Human and AI

How this website is created.

Vision and accountability. The vision, models, editorial choices and final publication responsibility belong to Convene.

AI as intellectual tooling. AI supports research, structure, editing, translation, visual exploration and consistency checks. It is not an independent author and makes no final decisions.

Source control. When a claim relies on external work, we prefer the original publication or an official source. Interpretations and original models are identified as such.
